Having family from Central Asia, Europe, Africa, and US, Imani learned since she was a child that kindness and compassion are valued equally in every country. She published in 2020 her first children's book “Her name was Flower”, donating all profits to charity causes in Namibia.
Joanna moved from New York to Lisbon nearly ten years ago. She is a freelance writer, speaker, translator and ritual celebrant, and a local arts and culture activist. Her first book, The Celebrant, is forthcoming.
